Policy & Etiquette

Price Policy:​

​

Please refer to our SERVICES page for all our prices and services.

Please note there are additional charges for any add-on services such as length/ shape/ design/ repairs…etc.

When unsure, please ask your technician before the start of your services, as their focus is to deliver you the best experience and service.

 

Please note that once your technician has finished their work, an additional fee will be applied if you have a change of heart and would like a different polish color. Therefore, please check your polish color once more before your technician starts applying polish on 1 or 2 fingers/toes. In case you may want to change it.

Prices are subject to change without notice. Our prices are competitive within our market and area. 

 

Services:​

​

No refunds will be provided for any service. We offer complimentary nail repair within 5 days of the service completion, pending Manager approval. Services over $150 may be asked to pay upfront.  

 

Repairs:​

​

Lacquer polish services are not guaranteed. Only full-set nail enhancements (Acrylic, Light Concept Gel, Dipping Powder) and gel polish manicures are guaranteed for 5 business days after your appointment; excluding breakages. If you notice light chipping or lifting within the first 5 days, please call us to schedule a free repair. Repairs after 5 days for breakages, tears, and corner breaks are $5+. Please bring your receipt to show proof of service. 

 

Gel Polish might chip off because of your nail getting weaker from many times you have your nail done. We will not guaranteed your gel polish will stay on when your nails get weak, so at this point we recommend you should to do any nail enhancement (Acrylic, Hard Gel, Dipping Powder,Gel X) to make your nature nail stronger and secure your nail can last longer, if you still do gel polish on nature nail as you want it; we will not guaranteed to repair it. In addition, too much water will cause your nails to expand, and when your nail is moist, they may begin chipping or peeling sooner than they should. We recommend you to wear a rubber glove to protect your nail from too much and too long contact with water, so your nail can last longer.

 

Lashes:​

​

Make sure to come WITHOUT makeup or a fee will be charged for any makeup or glue removal.

Do not have caffeine prior to your appointment, it can cause your eyes to quiver and twitch.

The Lash Application is approximately 1-3 hours long, depending on the specific look you desire.

 

You need to be able to lie on your back for an extended period of time. If you wear contact lenses, please bring your glasses. Having contacts on during your eyelash application can cause irritation and or discomfort. You will not be able to wear contacts during application.

A Consent form MUST be filled out in order to receive services. 

 

No-Shows:​

​

NailSpa Miami Wellness Center is committed to providing exceptional services. Unfortunately, when one customer fails to show up without giving notice, they prevent other clients from being able to book an appointment. Therefore, we have a No-Show Policy that imposes a non-refundable deposit if you do not show up to your appointment. Our designated booking system which will automatically send you a confirmation for your appointment once booked. One or more missed appointments will result in not allowing us to take future appointments.  You will then be placed on only a walk-in list for any services you are looking to acquire.

 

Deposit:​

​

When booking an appointment(s) as a new customer or certain services, we require a deposit for your appointment. The deposit amount is based on the service or services.  The deposit will be deducted from your total when you attend your appointment. If you cancel or do not show up, your deposit will be forfeited. Keep in mind that your deposit is only for the appointment that you scheduled, and deposits are non-transferable and non-refundable.  If you are 15 minutes late or more your appointment is subject to cancellation with no refunds on your deposit.  We only accept Cash, Venmo, Cash App, and Zelle for your deposit.

Cancellations:

​

​We understand that emergencies happen. If you need to cancel your appointment, we simply ask that you call us and notify us of any cancellations or rescheduling at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. Cancellations that break these rules will cause you to be put in a deposit program to schedule any future appointments or you are welcome to be a walk-in.  Please see the deposit policy for more information.

 

Late Arrivals:​

​

We make an effort to avoid long waiting periods in the salon and provide the most exquisite experience. Therefore, we ask our customers to be on time for their appointments. If you are running more than 10 minutes late, please let us know as soon as possible. The service may need to be adjusted to receive only one of your services. If you arrive at least 15 minutes late, you may be required to reschedule. Please see our deposit policy for further reference.  

 

Right, to Refuse:​

​

Please keep in mind that under any given circumstances, our team members may refuse service. We can do so if the person in question is:

Experiencing health issues that may affect or can be affected by the services.

Has purposely hidden information of crucial meaning to the service.

Did not show up for their last appointment and/or canceled it too late (see more in the “No-show” and “Late cancellation” sections of the policy).

Behaves inappropriately and/or is intoxicated. 

 

Food Policy:​

​

To ensure all our customers have a pleasant experience, we ask our clients to refrain from bringing food and drinks to the spa. 

​

Cell Phones:​

​

To maintain a calm, stress-free environment, we ask that cell phones and electronic devices are turned to silent and left on your person during your stay.

Health conditions:

When booking, please advise us of any health conditions (including pregnancy), allergies, injuries, or special needs which may affect your services.

 

Face and Body Treatments:​

​

Guests under the age of 18 require parental consent in order to receive any treatments.  All body / face treatments require a Consent form in order to receive services. Please note: Any body / face treatment package MUST be used within 6 months of purchase.  Failure to do so will result in loss of any remaining treatments in your package with NO REFUNDS. 

 

Pregnancy:​

​

We are delighted to offer prenatal treatments for expectant mothers throughout the whole pregnancy unless advised not to by your physician. 

 

Cleanliness:​

​

We are committed to superb cleanliness, safety, and hygiene. Our implements are sterilized and sanitized after every service.

 

Loss or Damage:​

​

We regret that we cannot be responsible for any damage or loss of personal items.  For the protection of your clothing, robes are provided for your convenience. 

 

Payments:

​

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Apple Pay, & Discover.  All transactions through our payment process system will charge a 3% service fee.  To avoid the fee, we gladly accept Cash, Zelle, Cash App, Venmo & NailSpa Miami Wellness Center gift certificates. We can not guarantee payment will go through third party applications and full payment MUST be paid and received by us before you leave.  If double payment occurs you will be refunded the amount overpaid.  We do not accept personal or traveler’s checks. Please mention gift certificates, vouchers, coupons, or certificates when booking. Our preferred method of payments for services and tips is always CASH.  We also offer financing for those who qualify. Payment for services may be paid before, after or during services.  

 

Gratuity:​

​

Gratuity is not included in the treatment fee; the suggested standard gratuity is 20% – 30% of the fee for each spa service received. Exceptional service can be recognized with more generous amounts. Gratuities are cash preferred.  Parties of 5 or more may be required to pay an automatic 20% gratuity at check out.  Specialty services and or services that exceed the amount of $120.00 may be charged an automatic 20% gratuity with the option to add more if needed.  We provide our customers with excellent service and take our time to ensure you are happy with your services.

Party Bookings:​

​

Wedding, Bridal, Baby & Birthday showers are welcomed at NailSpa Miami Wellness Center including Corporate Parties, and Fundraisers. For parties of 5 or more, a 20% deposit is required at the time of booking. A 20% gratuity will be added to the service total automatically.

 

Shaving:​

​

For body treatments, we recommend any shaving be done at least the day before in order to avoid discomfort or irritations. Men receiving a facial should shave at least two hours before their appointment.

 

Smoking / Vaping:​

​

NailSpa Miami Wellness Center is a smoke-free facility.  Smoking/Vaping is not permitted in the building under any circumstances. 

​

Recording on Premises:​

​

All public areas in the spa have cameras for safety and security.  We reserve the right to record and or take pictures for marketing and social media purposes if needed.  If you do not want to have a photo or video of you used for spa purposes, please notify the staff performing the action immediately. We will respect your privacy.

 

Children:​

​

We love children! And in order to keep them safe, we ask that children only accompanied by parents or adults are allowed when receiving services themselves. This helps maintain a professional atmosphere for other guests enjoying our services. As we are a family-friendly spa, acts of extreme intimacy are not acceptable.

 

Pets:​

​

Service animals are only allowed in the salon area.  There are no pets/animals allowed in the Spa area and treatment rooms for sanitary reasons.  All service animals are required to be on a leash and MUST be well-behaved.  If your pet causes a disturbance, you may be asked to leave.  

 

Wi-Fi:​

​

Available within the spa grounds, please ask our reception staff for Wi-Fi access.
